stalking the newburgh quarter

I recently found myself at a loss for anything to do and ended up wandering the streets of london taking candid shots of people-a really good use of my time I'm sure.

Bright Young Things

another 19th birthday party...
theme: film characters
costume: 1920s Bright Young Things
We went for Evelyn Waugh's bright young things. I found an enormous and ridiculosuly heavy faux fur coat at a thrift store and a cream slip dress from rocket.  Together with my new-ish cropped hair and and a DIY head band I thought I achieved it quite well. I also dug out some truly vintage long leather gloves that my granny used to wear on wild nights out.  Louis here sports her old netball blazer and my little sister's school hat, quite fetching.

chalk horse

I went for a walk in the Wiltshire hills with my little sister and my parents.  It didn;t sound partricularly interesting but it gave me some pretty good photography opportunities.
The clouds were moving really quickly across the sky creating a moving shadow over the vast landscape.  Very atmospheric.

It got a bit too much for Kitty.

In the beginning...

I dug out my dad's old film camera after seeing some in an antique shop and started trying it out taking some snaps of my friends. These are a few of my first attempts at film photography.
The view from our apartment in Nerja, Spain where i went with some friends in July.
The Saatchi Gallery, unfortunately alot of my photos were destroyed when i made a faux-pas and opened the back before winding the film in.
They change sofas and that's about it.
